“Thanks for being totally brilliant”
- Mr & Mrs Hobson x
The first blue skies in May saw the gorgeous Lorna & Mark become Mr & Mrs Hobson and saw our Hello Tuk Tuk take them on their first ever journey as newlyweds!
We collected our beautiful bride and her father in the morning and tuk tuk’d our way along to the church ceremony, which was held at the lovely Parish Church of St Nicolas. Whilst waiting outside we met the lovely Nigel from Allerston Taylor & Regency Carriages. Nigel introduced us to his classic car, a vintage Daimler DS420s Limousine used to transport the lovely bridesmaids on the day and of course, we had to get a photo with each others wedding wheels!
After the ceremony, the guests lined up outside the church to create a traditional confetti tunnel at the end of which, their unique wedding tuk tuk awaited. As we whisked away the happy couple, their friends and family sent them off with whoops and cheers. Such a great moment!
The winding country lanes and sunshine skies made for a perfect tuk tuk ride. We passed fields of sheep, deers that stood alert as they watched us tuk tuk by and even had some kids run alongside the tuk tuk hoping to keep up with us. Having out raced the kids (because you’d be surprised at how fast the tuk tuk can go!), we stopped off along the way for some fabulous photos at a wild bluebell wood adding to the whimsical moments that only the genteel countryside of rural England can inspire.
As we pootled along in our little tuk tuk, Mark & Lorna were reminded of their carefree days spent travelling in South East Asia and Sri Lanka. From the lush greens of Sri Lanka to the rolling greens of the Chilterns, this was the great British countryside at its best. Every time we looked in our wing mirrors we saw Lorna & Mark’s happy faces - this was truly a couple who had found their wedded bliss.
